Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2017 POLY in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy I, which included the work Calligraphy by Hu Hanmin. The price achieved of HKD 41,300.00 (€ 4,545.55) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 20,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Hu Hanmin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Calligraphy Couplet in Lishu in April last year with an auction result of HKD 226,800.00 (€ 27,421.77).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2017 führte POLY in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy I durch, in der auch die Arbeit Calligraphy von Hu Hanmin zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 41.300,00 (€ 4.545,55) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 20.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hu Hanmin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet in Lishu im April letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 226.800,00 (€ 27.421,77).
