Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calligraphy in Regular Script by Hu Hanmin was auctioned at Bonhams in Hong Kong in August last year. The price achieved of HKD 10,200.00 (€ 1,291.09) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hu Hanmin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy Couplet in Lishu in April last year with an auction result of HKD 226,800.00 (€ 27,421.77).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy in Regular Script von Hu Hanmin kam im August letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 10.200,00 (€ 1.291,09) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hu Hanmin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet in Lishu im April letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 226.800,00 (€ 27.421,77).
