Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Hu Hanmin achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in June 2015. In the Fine Chinese Modern Paintings auction, the work Calligraphic Couplet sold for HKD 118,750.00 (€ 13,733.86) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 50,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Hu Hanmin; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Calligraphy Couplet in Lishu sold at auction in April last year with the realized price of HKD 226,800.00 (€ 27,421.77).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Hu Hanmin erzielte im Juni 2015 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings wurde die Arbeit Calligraphic Couplet für HKD 118.750,00 (€ 13.733,86) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 50.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Hu Hanmin; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet in Lishu im April letzten Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 226.800,00 (€ 27.421,77).
