Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Hsiao Ming-Hsien was sold in the Modern Art Day Sale auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2021. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 50,000.00 – 100,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 60,480.00 (€ 6,475.33) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Hsiao Ming-Hsien have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in July 2020 the work Abstraction was auctioned for HKD 106,250.00 (€ 11,641.12).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Hsiao Ming-Hsien wurde im April 2021 in der Auktion Modern Art Day Sale bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 50.000,00 – 100.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 60.480,00 (€ 6.475,33) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Hsiao Ming-Hsien konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juli 2020 die Arbeit Abstraction für HKD 106.250,00 (€ 11.641,12) versteigert.
