Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2008 a collector was able to acquire the work Working Out The Kinks by Howard Rogers for USD 4,688.00 (€ 2,966.15). This price was achieved in the auction American Paintings at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Howard Rogers have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in March 2008 by the work A Squall Is Coming at USD 6,875.00 (€ 4,349.89).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März 2008 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Working Out The Kinks von Howard Rogers für USD 4.688,00 (€ 2.966,15) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion American Paintings bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Howard Rogers wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im März 2008 die Arbeit A Squall Is Coming mit USD 6.875,00 (€ 4.349,89).
