A top price for Howard Rogers - as previously expected
The work A Squall Is Coming by Howard Rogers was sold in the American Paintings auction at Sothebys in New York in March 2008. The price achieved of USD 6,875.00 (€ 4,349.89) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 10,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, A Squall Is Coming is the most expensive artwork by Howard Rogers that we have observed at auctions so far.
