Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Iranian untitled (Traditional Daf Player) by Hossein Kazemi was sold in the 20th Century Art / Middle East auction at Sothebys in London in April 2016. The price achieved of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 12,782.97) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hossein Kazemi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 313,000.00 (€ 201,053.44).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Iranian untitled (Traditional Daf Player) von Hossein Kazemi wurde im April 2016 in der Auktion 20th Century Art / Middle East bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 12.782,97) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hossein Kazemi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 313.000,00 (€ 201.053,44).
