Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2018 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Urban Art, which included the work Etonnement - 2015 by Hopare. The price achieved of EUR 13,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Hopare have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Yiruma in June 2021 with an auction result of HKD 693,000.00 (€ 75,277.77).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2018 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Urban Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Etonnement - 2015 von Hopare zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 13.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hopare auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Yiruma im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 693.000,00 (€ 75.277,77).
