Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2015 China Guardian in Hong Kong held the auction 20th Century and Contemporary Chinese Art, which included the work Hub In The Snow by Hong Ling. The price achieved of HKD 236,000.00 (€ 27,571.09) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hong Ling achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Late Autumn in November 2015 with an auction result of HKD 3,640,000.00 (€ 444,574.89).
