Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2016 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern Asian Art, which included the work Early Summer by Hong Ling. The price achieved of HKD 250,000.00 (€ 28,166.24) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hong Ling achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Late Autumn in November 2015 with an auction result of HKD 3,640,000.00 (€ 444,574.89).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2016 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Early Summer von Hong Ling zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 250.000,00 (€ 28.166,24) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 200.000,00 – 300.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hong Ling erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Late Autumn im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.640.000,00 (€ 444.574,89).
