Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2015 POLY in Hong Kong held the auction Modern and Contemporary Chinese Ink and Works on Paper, which included the work Chaotic World by Hong Ling. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 420,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 424,800.00 (€ 49,627.97). Admittedly, works by Hong Ling have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Late Autumn in November 2015 with an auction result of HKD 3,640,000.00 (€ 444,574.89).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2015 führte POLY in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Chinese Ink and Works on Paper durch, in der auch die Arbeit Chaotic World von Hong Ling zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 420.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 424.800,00 (€ 49.627,97) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hong Ling auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Late Autumn im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.640.000,00 (€ 444.574,89).
