Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Homi Patel was sold in the Indian & Southeast Asian Art auction at Sothebys in New York in March 2006. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 9,000.00 (€ 7,414.12) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Homi Patel have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March last year the work Cosmic Fantasy was auctioned for USD 11,970.00 (€ 10,790.59).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Homi Patel wurde im März 2006 in der Auktion Indian & Southeast Asian Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 9.000,00 (€ 7.414,12) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Homi Patel konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im März letzten Jahres die Arbeit Cosmic Fantasy für USD 11.970,00 (€ 10.790,59) versteigert.
