This artwork by Homi Patel achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in September 2020. In the Modern and Contemporary South Asian Art auction, the work without title sold for GBP 8,820.00 (€ 9,725.48) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Homi Patel; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Cosmic Fantasy sold at auction in March last year with the realized price of USD 11,970.00 (€ 10,790.59).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Homi Patel erzielte im September 2020 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary South Asian Art wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für GBP 8.820,00 (€ 9.725,48) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 5.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Homi Patel; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Cosmic Fantasy im März letzten Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 11.970,00 (€ 10.790,59).
