Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Holger Hvitfeldt Jerichau could be acquired at Bruun Rasmussen in August this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Paintings, furniture and varia auction, the work “Ung Pige fra Capri Catharina”. changed hands for DKK 1,750.00 (€ 234.75) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of DKK 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Holger Hvitfeldt Jerichau achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work View of Pompeii towards Mount Vesuvius with an artist by the easel in the foreground in March this year with an auction result of DKK 65,000.00 (€ 8,722.87).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Holger Hvitfeldt Jerichau konnte im August diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia wechselte die Arbeit “Ung Pige fra Capri Catharina”. für DKK 1.750,00 (€ 234,75) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Holger Hvitfeldt Jerichau erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit View of Pompeii towards Mount Vesuvius with an artist by the easel in the foreground im März diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 65.000,00 (€ 8.722,87).
