Auction result fails to reach estimate
This work of art by Holger Hvitfeldt Jerichau could be acquired at Bruun Rasmussen in October this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Paintings, furniture and varia auction, the work Coastal view with traders on Marita Riviera changed hands for DKK 1,100.00 (€ 147.39) - just shy of the DKK 3,000.00 estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Holger Hvitfeldt Jerichau achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work View of Pompeii towards Mount Vesuvius with an artist by the easel in the foreground in March this year with an auction result of DKK 65,000.00 (€ 8,722.87).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Dieses Kunstwerk von Holger Hvitfeldt Jerichau konnte im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia wechselte die Arbeit Coastal view with traders on Marita Riviera für DKK 1.100,00 (€ 147,39) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit den Schätzpreis von DKK 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Holger Hvitfeldt Jerichau erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit View of Pompeii towards Mount Vesuvius with an artist by the easel in the foreground im März diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 65.000,00 (€ 8.722,87).
