Auction result misses estimated price range
In June this year a collector was able to acquire the work Coastal view on a stormy day by Holger Drachmann for DKK 20,000.00 (€ 2,684.98). This price was achieved in the auction Paintings, drawings and icons at Bruun Rasmussen and was even below the estimate range of DKK 30,000.00 – 40,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Holger Drachmann - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Coastal view from Skagen with the “Det grå fyr” (The grey lighthouse), which sold at auction in September this year for DKK 70,000.00 (€ 9,384.92).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Coastal view on a stormy day von Holger Drachmann für DKK 20.000,00 (€ 2.684,98) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Paintings, drawings and icons bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 30.000,00 – 40.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Holger Drachmann mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Coastal view from Skagen with the “Det grå fyr” (The grey lighthouse) beobachtet, die im September diesen Jahres für DKK 70.000,00 (€ 9.384,92) versteigert wurde.
