Upper estimate price exceeded by 42 %.
The work Untitled 1960 by Ho Kan was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Art auction at Il Ponte in May 2021. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 850.00 42% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ho Kan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in April last year with an auction result of HKD 1,386,000.00 (€ 167,577.49).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 42 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Untitled 1960 von Ho Kan wurde im Mai 2021 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art bei Il Ponte versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 850,00 und damit 42% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ho Kan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im April letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.386.000,00 (€ 167.577,49).
