Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2021 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern Art Online: From Le Pho to Sanyu, which included the work Senza titolo by Ho Kan. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 30,000.00 – 60,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 30,240.00 (€ 3,425.31) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ho Kan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in April last year with an auction result of HKD 1,386,000.00 (€ 167,577.49).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2021 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern Art Online: From Le Pho to Sanyu durch, in der auch die Arbeit Senza titolo von Ho Kan zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 30.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 30.240,00 (€ 3.425,31) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ho Kan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im April letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.386.000,00 (€ 167.577,49).
