Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Ho Kan could be acquired at Sothebys in Hong Kong in December 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern Art Online: From Le Pho to Sanyu auction, the work Senza titolo changed hands for HKD 37,800.00 (€ 4,281.64) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 40,000.00 – 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ho Kan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in April last year with an auction result of HKD 1,386,000.00 (€ 167,577.49).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ho Kan konnte im Dezember 2021 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Modern Art Online: From Le Pho to Sanyu wechselte die Arbeit Senza titolo für HKD 37.800,00 (€ 4.281,64) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 40.000,00 – 80.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ho Kan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im April letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.386.000,00 (€ 167.577,49).
