Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Blind Race 2 by Hiroshi Kobayashi was sold in the Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2009. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 120,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 125,000.00 (€ 10,754.30). Admittedly, works by Hiroshi Kobayashi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Step into the Mist in November 2009 with an auction result of HKD 980,000.00 (€ 84,313.73).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Blind Race 2 von Hiroshi Kobayashi wurde im November 2009 in der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 120.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 125.000,00 (€ 10.754,30) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hiroshi Kobayashi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Step into the Mist im November 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 980.000,00 (€ 84.313,73).
