In November 2008 Sothebys in Paris held the auction La Photographie IV: The Collection of Marie-Thérèse and André Jammes, which included the work Entrée Du Port Du Havre, Vers 1841 by Hippolyte Fizeau. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 6,250.00 56% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Hippolyte Fizeau; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Gravures Héliographiques, Sujets Divers, Vers 1840 sold at auction in November 2008 with the realized price of EUR 11,250.00.

Im November 2008 führte Sothebys in Paris die Auktion La Photographie IV: The Collection of Marie-Thérèse and André Jammes durch, in der auch die Arbeit Entrée Du Port Du Havre, Vers 1841 von Hippolyte Fizeau zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 6.250,00 und damit 56% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Hippolyte Fizeau; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Gravures Héliographiques, Sujets Divers, Vers 1840 im November 2008 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 11.250,00.
