Sold at the lower estimate price
The work Portrait Of A Gentleman, Three-Quarter Length, In His Study by Hieronymus van der Mij was sold in the Old Master Paintings auction at Sothebys in London in February 2008. The result of GBP 3,000.00 (€ 3,923.88) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hieronymus van der Mij achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Double portrait of a boy and a girl, small full-length, with a greyhound in a wooded landscape in November 2000 with an auction result of GBP 29,375.00 (€ 48,012.28).
Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Double portrait of a boy and a girl, small full-length, with a greyhound in a wooded landscape im November 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 29.375,00 (€ 48.012,28).
