Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Danaë by Hieronymus van der Mij was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2016. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 5,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 5,625.00. Admittedly, works by Hieronymus van der Mij have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Double portrait of a boy and a girl, small full-length, with a greyhound in a wooded landscape in November 2000 with an auction result of GBP 29,375.00 (€ 48,012.28).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Danaë von Hieronymus van der Mij kam im November 2016 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 5.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 5.625,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hieronymus van der Mij auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Double portrait of a boy and a girl, small full-length, with a greyhound in a wooded landscape im November 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 29.375,00 (€ 48.012,28).
