Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Grumble by Hideaki Kawashima was sold in the Contemporary Asian Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2014. The price achieved of HKD 100,000.00 (€ 10,295.29) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hideaki Kawashima - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Grumble, which sold at auction in November 2007 for USD 58,600.00 (€ 39,896.51).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Grumble von Hideaki Kawashima wurde im Oktober 2014 in der Auktion Contemporary Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 100.000,00 (€ 10.295,29) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Hideaki Kawashima mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Grumble beobachtet, die im November 2007 für USD 58.600,00 (€ 39.896,51) versteigert wurde.
