Sold at the upper estimate price
The work Blow by Hideaki Kawashima was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2013. The auction ended at the price of HKD 150,000.00 (€ 14,683.32), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of HKD 120,000.00 – 150,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hideaki Kawashima - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Grumble, which sold at auction in November 2007 for USD 58,600.00 (€ 39,896.51).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Blow von Hideaki Kawashima kam im April 2013 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 150.000,00 (€ 14.683,32) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 120.000,00 – 150.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Hideaki Kawashima mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Grumble beobachtet, die im November 2007 für USD 58.600,00 (€ 39.896,51) versteigert wurde.
