In December 2016 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Modern Art, which included the work A winter landscape by Hessel de Boer. The auction ended at the price of EUR 3,000.00, which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hessel de Boer - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A sunny day in the park, which sold at auction in December 2006 for EUR 8,400.00.
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im Dezember 2016 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit A winter landscape von Hessel de Boer zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 3.000,00 entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Hessel de Boer mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A sunny day in the park beobachtet, die im Dezember 2006 für EUR 8.400,00 versteigert wurde.
