Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2008 a collector was able to acquire the work Rue De Ville by Hermine David for USD 3,750.00 (€ 2,956.95). This price was achieved in the auction Impressionist and Modern Art including Latin American and Russian Art at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Hermine David have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in March 2011 by the work Boulevard Des Batignolles at EUR 4,845.00.
