Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Hermann Nitsch was sold in the New Now auction at Phillips in London in December this year. It changed hands for a price of GBP 33,020.00 (€ 38,037.77) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hermann Nitsch achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ohne Titel (Schüttbild) in December 2020 with an auction result of EUR 600,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Hermann Nitsch wurde im Dezember diesen Jahres in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 33.020,00 (€ 38.037,77) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 25.000,00 – 35.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hermann Nitsch erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ohne Titel (Schüttbild) im Dezember 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 600.000,00.
