It achieved a price of GBP 10,837.50 (€ 12,839.51), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 55%. Admittedly, works by Hermann Goepfert have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in March 2015 with an auction result of GBP 37,500.00 (€ 51,845.73).

Die Arbeit W 67/61 (Weissbild) von Hermann Goepfert wurde im Oktober 2021 in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 10.837,50 (€ 12.839,51) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 55%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hermann Goepfert auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im März 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 37.500,00 (€ 51.845,73).
