This artwork by Hermann Goepfert achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in April 2017. In the Post-War and Contemporary Art auction, the work P 17/70 sold for EUR 20,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 10,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hermann Goepfert - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in March 2015 for GBP 37,500.00 (€ 51,845.73).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 100 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Hermann Goepfert erzielte im April 2017 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit P 17/70 für EUR 20.000,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 10.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Hermann Goepfert mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im März 2015 für GBP 37.500,00 (€ 51.845,73) versteigert wurde.
