Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Tending to the shrine by Hermann Corrodi was sold in the Home & Interiors auction at Bonhams in London in July this year. The price achieved of USD 2,304.00 (€ 2,090.74) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hermann Corrodi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Italian the Fountain Of The Sweet Waters Of Asia, On The Bosphorus in April 2013 with an auction result of GBP 518,500.00 (€ 611,859.93).
