Auction result well in line with expectations
In November last year Bonhams in London held the auction British and European Art, which included the work A view of San Giorgio Maggiore from The Grand Canal by Hermann Corrodi. The price achieved of GBP 2,295.00 (€ 2,659.38) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hermann Corrodi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Italian the Fountain Of The Sweet Waters Of Asia, On The Bosphorus in April 2013 with an auction result of GBP 518,500.00 (€ 611,859.93).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion British and European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit A view of San Giorgio Maggiore from The Grand Canal von Hermann Corrodi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.295,00 (€ 2.659,38) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hermann Corrodi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Italian the Fountain Of The Sweet Waters Of Asia, On The Bosphorus im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 518.500,00 (€ 611.859,93).
