Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2013 Sothebys in New York held the auction Old Master Drawings, which included the work An Elaborate Still Life Of Fruits And Nuts On A Ledge, A Mouse To The Right by Herman Henstenburgh. The price achieved of USD 36,250.00 (€ 26,685.81) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Herman Henstenburgh - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A King Bird Of Paradise (Cicinnurius Regius) And A Spiderhunter (Arachnothera), which sold at auction in January 2011 for USD 74,500.00 (€ 54,320.09).

Im Januar 2013 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Old Master Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit An Elaborate Still Life Of Fruits And Nuts On A Ledge, A Mouse To The Right von Herman Henstenburgh zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 36.250,00 (€ 26.685,81) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 30.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben worden.
