The »bidding war« ended at EUR 6,000.00 20% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Herman Frederik Carel ten Kate have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Pay Day in October 2007 with an auction result of EUR 38,650.00.

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 6.000,00 und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Herman Frederik Carel ten Kate auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Pay Day im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 38.650,00.
