Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2009 Sothebys in Amsterdam held the auction 19th Century European Paintings and Modern & Contemporary Art, which included the work Dutch Rounder Ball by Herman Berserik. The price achieved of EUR 5,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Herman Berserik - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Uitzicht uit atelier - View from the studio, which sold at auction in December 2001 for EUR 19,975.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2009 führte Sothebys in Amsterdam die Auktion 19th Century European Paintings and Modern & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Dutch Rounder Ball von Herman Berserik zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 5.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Herman Berserik mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Uitzicht uit atelier - View from the studio beobachtet, die im Dezember 2001 für EUR 19.975,00 versteigert wurde.
