Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work München, 2007 by Herlinde Koelbl for GBP 375.00 (€ 420.46). This price was achieved in the auction Edition Gerd Hatje: Contemporary Photographs, Prints & Multiples at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 500.00 – 700.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Herlinde Koelbl achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Angela Merkel in May 2019 with an auction result of EUR 5,805.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit München, 2007 von Herlinde Koelbl für GBP 375,00 (€ 420,46) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Edition Gerd Hatje: Contemporary Photographs, Prints & Multiples bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 500,00 – 700,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Herlinde Koelbl erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Angela Merkel im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 5.805,00.
