In December 2013 Christies in London held the auction Old Master & British Drawings & Watercolours, which included the work Possibly Tangiers, Morocco by Hercules Brabazon Brabazon. The result of GBP 1,500.00 (€ 1,804.27) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Hercules Brabazon Brabazon have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Venice From The Lagoon, With The Doge'S Palace, And The Campanile, Italy in November 2005 with an auction result of GBP 7,200.00 (€ 10,577.71).
