The price achieved of GBP 4,375.00 (€ 4,879.98) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hercules Brabazon Brabazon - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Venice From The Lagoon, With The Doge'S Palace, And The Campanile, Italy, which sold at auction in November 2005 for GBP 7,200.00 (€ 10,577.71).
