The price achieved of GBP 10,240.00 (€ 11,917.60) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Other works by Herbert Ward have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in July 2017 the work The Charm Doctor Dancing was auctioned for GBP 16,250.00 (€ 18,132.50).
