Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Herbert Schürmann could be acquired at Bonhams in London in July this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Photographs Now The Collector's Edition auction, the work Untitled (Blocks) changed hands for USD 288.00 (€ 261.34) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 500.00 – 1,000.00. Admittedly, works by Herbert Schürmann have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Rose auf Glasscheiben und Gitter. in November 2017 with an auction result of EUR 1,875.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Herbert Schürmann konnte im Juli diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Photographs Now The Collector's Edition wechselte die Arbeit Untitled (Blocks) für USD 288,00 (€ 261,34) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 500,00 – 1.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Herbert Schürmann auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Rose auf Glasscheiben und Gitter. im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 1.875,00.
