In April 2005 Christies in Melbourne held the auction AUSTRALIAN, INTERNATIONAL & CONTEMPORARY PAINTINGS, which included the work The Studio Window by Herbert Reginald Gallop. The price achieved of AUD 1,792.50 (€ 1,086.96) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 1,500.00 – 2,000.00.
