Estimate exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Herbert Hamak achieved an unexpectedly high price at VAN HAM in June 2015. In the ACHENBACH Art Auction auction, the work C778N sold for EUR 5,206.00 - well above the estimate of EUR 2,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Herbert Hamak; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Two works: (i) Untitled (Green); (ii) Untitled (Blue) sold at auction in September 2009 with the realized price of GBP 8,125.00 (€ 8,888.07).

In der Auktion ACHENBACH Art Auction wurde die Arbeit C778N für EUR 5.206,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem Schätzpreis von EUR 2.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Herbert Hamak; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Two works: (i) Untitled (Green); (ii) Untitled (Blue) im September 2009 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 8.125,00 (€ 8.888,07).
