Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Herbert Gurschner achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in November 2018. In the 20th Century Art – A Different Perspective auction, the work Austrian mother Earth -Sowing sold for GBP 40,000.00 (€ 45,118.78) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 15,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Herbert Gurschner; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Bean Ingram sold at auction in December 2020 with the realized price of EUR 50,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Herbert Gurschner erzielte im November 2018 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th Century Art – A Different Perspective wurde die Arbeit Austrian mother Earth -Sowing für GBP 40.000,00 (€ 45.118,78) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 15.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Herbert Gurschner; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Bean Ingram im Dezember 2020 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 50.000,00.
