The work Austrian mother Earth -Harvest by Herbert Gurschner was sold in the 20th Century Art – A Different Perspective auction at Sothebys in London in November 2018. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 20,000.00 (€ 22,559.39), 33% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Herbert Gurschner - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Bean Ingram, which sold at auction in December 2020 for EUR 50,000.00.

Die Arbeit Austrian mother Earth -Harvest von Herbert Gurschner wurde im November 2018 in der Auktion 20th Century Art – A Different Perspective bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 20.000,00 (€ 22.559,39) und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Herbert Gurschner mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Bean Ingram beobachtet, die im Dezember 2020 für EUR 50.000,00 versteigert wurde.
