A top price for Herb Davidson - as previously expected
The work Portrait of Hugh Hefner by Herb Davidson was auctioned at Christies in New York in December 2010. The price achieved of USD 6,000.00 (€ 4,521.82) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Portrait of Hugh Hefner is the most expensive artwork by Herb Davidson that we have observed at auctions so far.
