A top price for Herb Davidson - as previously expected
The work Portrait of Hugh Hefner by Herb Davidson was auctioned at Christies in New York in December 2010. The price achieved of USD 6,000.00 (€ 4,521.82) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Portrait of Hugh Hefner is the most expensive artwork by Herb Davidson that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Portrait of Hugh Hefner von Herb Davidson kam im Dezember 2010 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 6.000,00 (€ 4.521,82) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden.
