Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Henryk Stazewski achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in September 2016. In the First Open | Post-War and Contemporary Art | London auction, the work Relief Kolorowy (Coloured Relief) sold for GBP 53,750.00 (€ 62,249.18) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 20,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Henryk Stazewski; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot without title sold at auction in October last year with the realized price of SEK 1,350,000.00 (€ 123,530.30).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Henryk Stazewski erzielte im September 2016 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion First Open | Post-War and Contemporary Art | London wurde die Arbeit Relief Kolorowy (Coloured Relief) für GBP 53.750,00 (€ 62.249,18) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 20.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Henryk Stazewski; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Oktober letzten Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von SEK 1.350.000,00 (€ 123.530,30).
