In the British and Continental Watercolours including Original auction, the work Chapel of the High Altar, Toledo Cathedral, Spain sold for GBP 1,015.75 (€ 1,535.02) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Henry Thomas Schäfer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Banquet in December 2015 with an auction result of GBP 27,500.00 (€ 37,343.68).
