Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Frances Stark by Henry Taylor was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in March last year. It changed hands for a price of USD 37,800.00 (€ 34,075.54) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Henry Taylor achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work I'Ll Put A Spell On You in November 2018 with an auction result of USD 975,000.00 (€ 861,079.22).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Frances Stark von Henry Taylor kam im März letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 37.800,00 (€ 34.075,54) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 30.000,00 – 40.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Henry Taylor erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit I'Ll Put A Spell On You im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 975.000,00 (€ 861.079,22).
