Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2002 Christies in London held the auction British and Continental Watercolours and Drawings, which included the work Autumn Melody by Henry Sykes. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,645.00 (€ 2,602.10). Other works by Henry Sykes have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 2,400.00 (€ 3,438.77) in March 2006 for the work Spanish Lady.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2002 führte Christies in London die Auktion British and Continental Watercolours and Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Autumn Melody von Henry Sykes zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.645,00 (€ 2.602,10) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Henry Sykes haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.400,00 (€ 3.438,77) im März 2006 für die Arbeit Spanish Lady beobachtet.
