Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2021 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Curated, which included the work Red Blanket and Divine I by Henry Mujunga. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 6,048.00 (€ 7,100.92), 21% above the upper estimate. Other works by Henry Mujunga have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of MAD 84,500.00 (€ 7,414.71) in May 2021 for the work Ensi Tugilya Ko Makoo La, 2019.
